Method Principle:

The automatic procedure for measuring "dissolved organic substances" in different types of water (wastewater, surface water, process water, and landfill leachate without solids) is based on the photometric measurement of SAC = spectral absorption coefficient, at the wavelength of 254 nm.
UVC absorption at 254 nm by "dissolved organic substances" makes their determination possible without reagents.
The calibration curve of SAC - COD eq involves storing the regression line obtained from the analysis of multiple standards within the analytical range of interest.
